Mitchell Bailey, a native of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, is dedicated to transforming his hometown into a premier destination for luxury vacation cabins through his latest development, Oakhaven Estates. His vision is to attract investors who understand the profitable potential of vacation cabin rentals, as well as individuals who dream of owning a family vacation getaway that doubles as a wise investment for their future.

Mitchell’s deep roots in Broken Bow are evident through his lifelong connection to the area. Raised in a family that has operated Bailey's Lumber Company for four generations, Mitchell grew up learning the ins and outs of building and development. This heritage instilled in him a commitment to quality, integrity, and community—values that are the foundation of his work today.

A standout football player in his youth, Mitchell earned a spot on the University of Arkansas football team as an invited walk-on, competing in the SEC as the Razorbacks starting fullback. He later transferred to the University of Louisiana Monroe, where he completed his college football career as a running back, leading his team to the most successful season in ULM history during his senior year. Mitchell earned numerous accolades, including the Sunbelt Conference’s Special Teams Player of the Week, SEC Winter Warrior Award, SEC Grinder Award, Sunbelt Conference Superhawk Award, and Brandon Burlsworth Nominee Award. He also co-starred as Nathan Norman, the starting fullback, in the national movie and Netflix top 10 movie "Greater" and appeared in the movie "22 Jump Street" with Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill.

Mitchell’s athletic achievements extend beyond the football field. He was the Mr. Arkansas Physique Overall Novice Winner and Overall Grand Champion in his first show, and he is a national men’s physique and classic physique bodybuilding competitor.

After college, Mitchell pursued a career in the NFL. However, recognizing the need to plan for life beyond football, he decided to focus on his passion for building and development. In the mid-2010s, Mitchell built his first two vacation cabins, blending modern luxury with the natural beauty of Broken Bow. He quickly realized the demand for a trustworthy cabin rental management company and founded Exploring Broken Bow Lake Cabin Management in 2016. This venture was driven by his desire to maintain the honesty, character, and integrity that have always been his guiding principles.
